In some years, I also teach modules on Classical Chinese philosophy and Buddhist philosophy.
I currently co-supervise Eleanor Harris, who is based at the University of Birmingham, working on epistemic injustice and delusions, and, at Nottingham, Zening Niu's thesis on Daoism and contemporary French philosophy, Alishba Shuja's comparative project on knowledge of virtue, and Ellen Walkingshaw's thesis on grief and angel beliefs.
I previously supervised Alice Monypenny, who works on feminist and vice epistemology, and Taylor Matthews, who works on vice and applied epistemology.
I am interested to supervise anyone interested in philosophy of illness, pessimism and misanthropy, vice epistemology, Feyerabend, or Classical Chinese philosophy.
